Ten-pin October
The monthly showdown at Bateau Bay Bowling proved that age is just a number, but strike counts are eternal. The afternoon was filled with high energy, low-flying balls, and arguably many gutter balls.
King of the Pins: Lindsay “The Thunder” McNamara claimed the top spot with a sizzling 286 game. Rumour has it he ate extra lollies, unlocking ultimate cosmic power.
Queen of the Lanes: Jayne “No Gutter” Wilson dominated the women, leaving a trail of broken pins behind her with a cool 219.
Once the bowling shoes were safely returned, the crew headed over to Bateau Bay Bowling Club for a well-deserved dinner. The conversation flowed just as fast as the bowling balls.
It was the perfect wrap-up to an active afternoon, proving once again that the best part of the league is the community and connection.
Plans are already being drawn up for next month’s {26th November} rematch!
