This walk is selected to be a relaxing and non-strenuous short walk in order to cater for those who would like to participate in the walking programme.
The meeting point will be at 10am at the entrance to Mount Penang Gardens 38 – 40 Parklands Road, Kariong where the walk will commence. Free, ample parking is available directly in front of the Mt Penang Gardens entrance. The intention is to have a leisurely walk around the gardens while taking in the wonderful gardens, water features and bird life and finish for coffee, for those who wish, at the Waterfall Café where the walk commenced.
This is a leisurely walk with a total distance of about 2 km. There is seating along the way for those who may not wish to do the entire walk.
Please ensure you bring a hat and sunscreen for what we hope will be a beautiful day.
Meeting Time: Tuggerah Station, 8.55 am, Platform 2.
What to Photograph: Newcastle Harbour, Harbour traffic Nobbys Beach, Nobbys Lighthouse, Newcastle Breakwall Newcastle Baths.

Lunch: To be determined.
This is a mainly a small group social event in which photos are taken either by phone or camera. A great fun day is had and lunch venue is normally a group decision. A lot of camaraderie.
This is an opportunity to socialise with other club members. You don’t need to be a keen or good photographer. Any smart phone can take great photos. Just come along and have a great day. New members are always welcome
Probus Cluster 15 are organizing a Bare Foot Bowls day as they have done for many years.
This year it will be held at The Green. 10 Warrigal St. The Entrance, on Friday 1st May.
The green is covered by a kind of shade cloth, which makes comfortable for bowling.
We are asking Experienced bowlers to help the inexperienced bowlers to play the grand old game of Lawn Bowls.
Please bring your own bowls if you have some. Otherwise, bowls will be provided.
Please arrive at 9.30, where you will be given a numbered ticket, which will be the lane you will be playing on.
Bowls start at 10 am and finishes at 12 sharp. The greens are booked by others from then on.
Lunch at your own expense.
Names on list at meeting. Optional lunch at club, for a fun day of games and friendship and fellowship with our cluster clubs.
ENJOY A THREE AND HALF HOURS CRUISE AROUND SYDNEY HARBOUR IN A FULLY ENCLOSED GLASS BOAT. WALKER FRIENDLY.
