Speaker: Barbara Elkins, who talked about bees & beekeeping.
Barbara has been involved with beekeeping since she was 10 years old, having started by helping her father with his bees.
At the age of 60 her passion for bees was still strong & she joined the Beekeepers Association where she became actively involved, working hard for the club.
Today she doesn’t have any hives, but sources honey from colleagues & is on the speaking circuit, promoting the industry and educating people about bees & beekeeping.
