Meeting Place: Carpark on Wilfred Barrett Drive, 7.5 km from The Entrance bridge on the left-hand side of the road. New upgraded car park, may need to top and tail park if space limited. There are no park entry fees.
Photographic Opportunities: The Red Gum Forest Walk provides many red gums of various heights and shapes. There are other species of vegetation and hopefully there will be late flowering Flannel Flowers. There is also a concrete pathway to the right of the carpark which shows manmade influences of a built environment in a natural environment. This pathway ends at the retirement village in Norah Head about 2 km away There is also an unopened pathway to the left which will ultimately link the pathway to The Entrance.
Lunch: A choice of either Norah Head or The Entrance. We can decide on the day.
This activity is open to all Probus members, and you do not need a keen interest in photography to attend. Many photographers these days use a mobile phone which have camera features that are equivalent to many ordinary and advanced cameras. It is an opportunity to socialise with other members of Probus getting a little exercise, observing nature and having lunch afterwards.
