Details:

Day One
Central Coast to Jindabyne.
Travelling on a 5 star seat built equipped modern coach you will sure to be safe and comfortable.
Day Two
Today we head for the mountains, first stop Thredbo, where you’ll experience a chair lift ride or enjoy a leisurely stroll around this alpine village.
Bullocks Flat is our next stop for a look at the famous Skitube Alpine Railway with time for morning tea beside the beautiful Thredbo River.
Then we’ll take a scenic drive through the mountains via Smiggin Holes and Perisher. We’ll stop for lunch at Charlotte Pass, with views of Australia’s highest peak, Mt Kosciuszko.
Day Three
Begins with a visit to the Snowy Hydro System. You will see the historical side and the fundamentals of how the system works. Adaminaby, Shannons flat, Eucembene dam wall
Snowy Hydro discovery centre.
Day Four
A day to take in some of the local attractions that make the Snowy mountains an all year round destination. Then Back to the Hotel for Lunch and a afternoon for you to explore Jindabyne at your own pace. Snowy Region Visitor Centre, Gaden Trout Hatchery, Wildbrumby Distillery
Day Five
Today is one for the History buffs. We take you to some historical points from the area. Dalgety, Bombala, Burnima Homestead, Nimmitabel, Cooma Gaol. Burnima Homestead was built in 1896. The homestead is a complete and fine example of a working Victorian homestead; such an atmosphere is created that once you enter the grounds through the formal carriage way, you step back to 1890.

Day six
Depart Jindabyne at 8am and return to Central Coast Mid afternoon.

Accommodation

The Snowy Mountain’s premier lake front hotel.
Originaly built in the 1960’s when the old town was flooded. The LJ has been famous for having live rock bands in
the winter in the past. It is now more of a all year family destination.
39 renovated lake front rooms, all with ensuite, reverse cycle air conditioning, free wifi, flat screen tv, refrigerator
and magnificent lake views.
The Hotel has a large restaurant for your evening meals plus 2 bars and plenty of spots you can sit down and enjoy a drink and enjoy the lakefront view

Price: $795 pp twin share
$100 deposit due by November meeting
Final Payment due by March meeting
